Back in 2011, Caffe Cream started with a simple mission: to serve exceptional ice cream by the sea, made from scratch, using only quality ingredients. What began as a local passion project in New Brighton, Wirral, has since become a destination dessert café loved by families, foodies, and visitors from across the UK.
Humble Beginnings on the Wirral Coast
We opened our doors in Marine Point, right on the New Brighton promenade. With just a handful of flavours, a small team, and a lot of determination, we set out to create ice cream that was worth talking about—and worth coming back for.
From the beginning, we’ve believed in doing things properly: small batches, fresh ingredients, and a customer experience that feels personal, not corporate.

Growth Built on Quality and Community
Caffe Cream grew quickly not because of flashy advertising, but because people loved what we made. Word of mouth, local loyalty, and national awards helped put us on the map.
We expanded into Birkenhead Park, launched new dessert products, and invested in a dedicated small-batch production facility right here in the North West.

Still Local. Still Independent.
Today, we’re proud to remain an independent, family-founded business with strong Wirral roots. Everything we do, from our award-winning ice cream to our barista coffee, is still guided by the values we started with: quality, integrity, and a love of good food.
We’re not just another dessert shop. We’re part of the community. And we’re here to stay.
