We won our third Great Taste Award!
We are incredibly proud to announce that we have been awarded a prestigious Great Taste Award for our classic Vanilla ice cream!
Looking back to where we began, it seems almost impossible to accept how far we have actually come in just half a decade; from the first time we sat down to discuss name and logo ideas for our new ‘concept’, to actually travelling to Italy to learn all there is to know about great quality ice cream. It is a huge honour to say that Caffe Cream has won the Great Taste Award for 3 out of 5 years.
According to the Guild of Fine Food who organise the Great Taste Awards, the awards are an “acknowledged benchmark for fine food and drink [as well as being] described as the ‘Oscars’ of the food world, and the ‘epicurean equivalent of the Booker prize’. Quite simply, the Great Taste logo is the sign you can trust when buying food and drink in your local, quality retailer.”
Having spent so much time and dedication in travelling back and forth to Italy in order to ensure we had the best knowledge of ice cream and production, as well as what flavours were the most popular, and any opportunities to make new and exclusive flavours, we think that we have proven that hard work and passion definitely does pay off!
Caffe Cream co-founder Justin Dooley said of receiving the award, “We are thrilled to have won yet another Great Taste Award. This award is testament to our team and the hard work that they put into making our homemade ice cream. We’re going to need a bigger trophy cabinet!”
We couldn’t be any more delighted to have won this fantastic award for the third time, and we hope and aspire to win many more while enjoying the journey to making the best ice cream around.
